Family Advocate

Delightful Learning Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Family Advocate to walk alongside our families and support them in their child’s early learning journey. We are looking for someone who values strong relationships, has a heart for children and families, and believes in the power of community connections. In this role, you will help welcome new families, support recruitment efforts, and maintain accurate child and family records to ensure every child receives the best care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome new families and guide them through the enrollment process.

• Build strong, supportive relationships with families to encourage open communication.

• Keep child and family records up to date and organized.

• Connect families with community resources and services when needed.

• Check in with families regularly to support their goals and address concerns.

• Work closely with teachers and staff to ensure families feel supported.

• Participate in family events, outreach, and community activities.

• Protect confidentiality and handle family information with care.

Qualifications:

• Degree or certificate in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred (or willingness to work toward one).

• At least 1 year of experience working with families, children, or community programs preferred

• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)

• Must pass background and fingerprint checks.
